Extraction systems for chips and dusts

Our extraction systems for chips and dusts

Individual systems engineering for craft and industry

As a rule, the chips and dusts are collected via extraction hoods placed close to the tools in combination with an effective air flow. They are lead via pipes to the filter system, where the chips and dusts are separated and the dirty air is cleaned. The cleaned air is either returned to the work areas (return air) or discharged into the atmosphere as exhaust air.

For the recycling of the chips or dusts separated in the compact dust extractors or filter systems, our extraction systems can be equipped either with briquetting presses or the chips and dusts can be forwarded into containers or silos via a mechanical or pneumatic conveyor system.

Extraction systems are planned and manufactured individually with the focus on customer requirements, functionality, energy efficiency, economy, operational safety and service life.

For extraction systems in the range between 1,200 and 10,000 m³/h, compact dust extractors are used in most cases. The decisive advantage of dust extractors is that they can be set up directly in the workspace. Here they can extract and separate organic dusts of dust explosion class St 1.

By combining several dust extractors (battery installation), the range of application can be extended to an extraction air volume of up to 50,000 m³/h. This provides an interesting alternative to externally installed compact filter systems in terms of energy and cost.

In most cases, externally installed filter units are used for applications with required extraction volume flows of more than 10,000 m³/h. The SPÄNEX range of filter systems consists of several series:

Compact filter systems
Industrial compact filter systems are part of extraction systems for required air quantities up to 50,000 m³/h.

Large filter systems
The large filter system program consists of two series:

  • Battery filters
The battery filters are composed from the units ofthe compact filter system and are particularly interesting for applications of 50,000 to 100,000 m³/h..

  • Line filters
The range of application for line filters usually starts at extraction air volumes of 80,000 m³/h. Line filter systems are built usually for volume flows up to 200,000 m³/h.
