Convincing arguments

Suitable system technology

The paint mist extraction system plays a decisive role in the achievable quality of the surface. For this reason, SPÄNEX attaches great importance to consultation, planning and the development of the optimum system concept together with the customer.

Based on the local conditions, the range of parts, the part throughput, the paint system in conjunction with the application technology and the required surface quality, the complete system is planned taking into account the regulations for occupational health and safety as well as fire and explosion protection. The space available is also taken into consideration, i.e. whether a combined painting and drying room is sufficient or whether separate painting and drying rooms are required..

Energy efficiency

Large volumes of air are moved in paint mist extraction systems. Therefore, great attention must be paid to the energy requirement. By using directly driven high-performance fans with efficiencies of more than 80 %, the power requirement is minimised from the outset. In conjunction with the speed control of the supplied air and exhaust air fans, the air performance can be adapted to the respective demand, so that the use-dependent savings potentials can be fully exploited.

Heat recovery

The extracted air volume must be fed back into the painting room as supply air. Depending on the air volumes, the use of a supply air unit with integrated heat exchanger (cross-flow heat exchanger, rotary heat exchanger or closed-loop system) for heat recovery makes economic sense. In practical operation, efficiencies of up to 65 % can be achieved, resulting in short payback times and the existing boiler does not have to provide the full heat output..

Control and regulation technology

A major contribution to the saving of thermal and electrical energy as well as to the flexible use of the system is made by the control and regulation technology, which is also developed, planned and manufactured by SPÄNEX in accordance with the motto "All from one source".

Product overview

Dry spraying walls

Series TAW-Compakt

The compact dry extraction walls are ideal for painting smaller parts in trade and industry.

The conception of the TAW compact series convinces with a two-stage separation.

The two filter stages in conjunction with a rectifier ensure an even collection and a very high degree of separation. The folding carton filter (pre-separator) impresses with a particularly high paint storage capacity with low pressure loss.

The solvent vapours are extracted via retractable filter cassettes in the base plate.

The TAW compact series is manufactured in series and is supplied depending on the output as a ready-to-connect unit with one or two integrated fans including exhaust air connection piece. The motors are connected via 10 metre long connection cables with switch/plug combination.

Another plus point of this series is the particularly favourable price/performance ratio.

Series TAW

The spraying walls are manufactured in a modular system as a self-supporting construction made of galvanised sheet steel. Depending on the range of parts, capture areas with dimensions from 2 x 2 m to 5 x 3 m can be realised, whereby the walls can also be installed in combination.

In addition, the wall corpus can be equipped with additional hopper-shaped baffles to increase the capture area.

Furthermore, the dry extraction walls can be supplied with floor extraction troughs to collect the accumulating paint mist.

The best working conditions in the painting room are achieved through the corresponding air volumes in conjunction with the supply air conduction and the two-stage separation. TAW series spray walls are often used in combination with conveyor systems for the material to be painted..

Underfloor extraction

Series SUA

The underfloor extraction system creates optimum workplace conditions for the painter.

The supply air is introduced via a large-area filter blow-out ceiling and the exhaust air is extracted via a pit covered with gratings. The air flow directed from top to bottom captures and removes the sinking paint mist.

The capturing ducts are arranged in the extraction pit and are equipped with two filter stages.

The underfloor extraction system is customised, planned and designed to meet the respective requirements. The range of parts to be painted determines the dimensions of the pit and the supply air ceiling, and thus the supply and exhaust air performance.

The workpiece can be painted from all sides so that the painter can position himself optimally for the application of the paint layer.

SUA and TAW series in combination

For certain tasks, the combination of underfloor extraction with a spraying wall is the ideal solution. Particularly when the parts spectrum is very different and, for example, mainly a directed laquering is required in connection with a conveyor system.
